Funny how a simple smiley can convey an answer. Like this:

Of course. Whilst it's perfectly possible to come up spontaneously with an original way of saying something occasionally, it's all but impossible to do so daily (especially to order) without sounding so contrived it gets pointless.

As for those frequent smileys you were ribbing Dave about in another thread, I think you just answered yourself! Image

Us young farts have too! Only... I use the grammar I have been taught at school. (okasiyonully) Some things bug me, like rofl, lmfao, wtf, lol (even though I have said it...) w/e, wubu2 etc. That last one didn't count. I don't fit into chav society! Does anyone here call chavs by another name e.g: Charv or Pikey? :?:

Guttersnipes (now there's a word that's dying with my parents' generation - though Ken Russell used it of Jade's mother when he walked out of Big Brother.)

They're charvas where I come from.

Apparently this type of person has adopted the term now and don't find it abusive anymore, so now they get called Mumpas.

As in Mumpa, Mumpa, stick it up your Jumpa! Or something.
