New Year Resolutions

Post by Bluebottle » Tue Jan 01, 2008 2:36 pm

Well? Anybody?
? I must have some booze. I demand to have some booze.
? This place has become impossible. Nothing to eat, freezing cold and now a madman on the prowl outside with eels.

I resolve not to make resolutions!
You only end up depressed when you break them.

What are resolutions?

Mine are to not get into a relationship,

Not to be popular

Not to become famous

Be repulsive in nature and appearance

Be crap in my exams and general work

Be a lazy ungrateful youth of today

Be shown up by everyon, who are all cleverer than me.

Oh wait, that's ok. I can do those anyway.

I hereby resolve to:
1) Act more in line with my age, and not my shoe size
2) Take more notice of those nice government-types, and drink more responsibly
3) Start an exercise program to give me a body to make the women swoon
4) Gallantly charge to the rescue of said women and impress her with my wit and wisdom
5) Sign up for evening classes on wit and wisdom
6) Organise my life around the things that are important to me
7) Decide on the things that are important to me
8) Find a new hobby that doesn't involve looking at this monitor all night, every night
9) Not drag all and sundry down into the gutter with me
10) Stop taking these anti-flu-drugs. They do strange things to your mind...
11) Stop procrastinating
12) Start tomorrow

It's full of words of wisdom for you

Words of knowledge.

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit.

Wisdom is not putting tomatoes in fruit salad. I'm fairly wise already, plus if I want cheap cliches I'll buy a calendar.

I bet they were quite expensive clich?s, too: worth Dave's nicking from his previous job, anyway...
