PAN-YAN PICKLE TO RETURN ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Post by verytalldave » Tue Jan 22, 2008 9:42 am

Reports in the newspapers today reads.......................added below exactly as printed..............

"MAKERS IN A PICKLE OVER RELISH REVIVAL"

A campaign to re-introduce a nostaligic pickle has hit a snag after the company which owns the brand admitted it did not know the recipe. Thousands of pickle-lovers joined BBC DJ Chris Evans in calling for the return of PAN YAN PICKLE after he featured it on his Radio 2 show.
Maker Premier Foods which dropped the 100year old brand in 2002, said it would seriously consider a comeback for the once popular relish but then discovered the only copy of the original recipe was destroyed in a factory fire in 2004. The company is now appealing for anyone with old jars of the spicy, apple-based pickle to contact them so its contents can be analysed.

So there you have the full story.

If anybody out there in "Bring it Back" land has either an unopened or even only a partially full jar, please let the Premier Foods know.
It would be a nice bit of countrywide free advertising for this website at the same time......AND help to get PAN YAN back on the shelves in time for next Christmas.

What a treat that would be ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! :P

Can ANYBODY help ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? :?:

PLEASE........................................... :D :D :D :D :D

? I must have some booze. I demand to have some booze.
? This place has become impossible. Nothing to eat, freezing cold and now a madman on the prowl outside with eels.
